An item (Ep from my band : http://www.archive.org/details/AtlanticDrop-Ae) that I recently added is getting 600+ downloads per day since about a week. This is great, but it doesn't make any sense since on the first two weeks, it got only like 20 downloads. Could it be "false" downloads, like a robot or something ? The weird thing is that it is very accurate, it is almost exactly 680 downloads every day.

Just a guess, but do you have a link posted on a website somewhere? If so, you'll get a "download" every time someone loads that webpage. That's why the top downloaded show on the LMA has over two million downloads--the band had a link on their website.

I do have a link on my bandcamp page, that could explain it indeed. I'm still surprised to see almost 700 "downloads" a day, cause I don't think 700 person click on that link every day, but it's good to know, thanks!

What I would do is to go to the statistic log of my page and take a look to the ip that is entering and downloading that particular file, you might enter back into the ip and see who is that, and figure it out if it is a robot or a human.
Hope it works!
